(Dave Copeland/Patch)SALEM, MA — Salem will soon have its first new mayor in more than 16 years after five-term incumbent Kim Driscoll was elected as the state's new lieutenant governor on Tuesday.Driscoll, who beat out a crowded primary field for the Democratic nomination in September, was on the winning ticket with Democrat Attorney General and new Governor Maura Healey.
