PEABODY — A Peabody man died after he was struck by a motor vehicle in Peabody on Sunday night, according to the Essex District Attorney's Office. Robert King, 61, of Peabody, was pronounced dead at Brigham and Women's Hospital early Sunday morning, the DA's office said. He had been struck by a vehicle at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Sunday on Summit Street in Peabody. The DA's office said the name of the driver was being withheld until the completion of an investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and investigators from the Peabody Police Department.
